FRIDAY GIVEAWAY!

Happy Friday, everyone!  It's giveaway day!  I've been so excited to do this.  In the spirit of the holidays, I will be giving away ONE 10" Handmade yarn and felt wreath (pictured below).  Remember my DIY from a few days ago?  Well I got a little carried away and made more than one wreath...


So what do you need to do to enter to win this lovely prize?  It's easy! You can one of these things or all of these.  Each step = 1 entry!

1. Mandatory Entry - Leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite Christmastime family tradition.
2. For an extra entry, "Follow" this blog and leave a comment telling me you did so.
3. For another extra enty, visit my etsy shop and "heart" my store and leave a comment letting me know you did so.
4. Blog or tweet about this giveaway for an extra entry and come back and leave a link in the comments.

So you can enter the giveaway up to four times to increase you chance of winning!  The contest begins now and will run through Tuesday, November 23, 2010.  I will announce the winner on Wednesday, November 24th.  The winner will be chosen using random.org. Good luck!

  1. My favorite Christmas time tradition - when we little my favorite Aunt would make my brother and I colorful pj's, we loved them, they were so warm and cuddly and we would wear them Christmas morning. . .in this cold weather I really miss those jammies!

  3. My sweet mother-in-law introduced to our family saying something you're thankful for before opening a present. And my sisters and mom and I always used to decorate the tree together with Christmas music and hot cocoa late into the nate just after THanksgiving, before we all moved around.

  6. When I was little and living in Hanover Park, a bunch of us kids in the neighborhood (including your mom, i believe) would go Christmas Caroling to all the houses....fun times!

  7. My favorite tradition is opening a gift the night before. Or stockings. It's mainly about relaxing and spending time with family, however. Thank you for this giveaway!

  8. This is a beautiful wreath..so unique. My favorite Christmas time tradition is getting together with my moms side of the family on Christmas Eve. My grandfather is now 91, so it is wonderful that he is there in the center of it all

  9. Beautiful wreath, I have started working on my own...but I just keep making plain ones. I have not been able to accessorize them great!
    My favorite tradition in my family is on Christmas ever my family trades off dressing up as santa there is over 50 of us in one living room, its just so special seeing the little kids reactions and joy when santa comes.

  14. Christmas Eve we do a big Mexican feast! All the yummies: carnitas, enchiladas, rice and beans, tamales, the works.

  18. My favorite tradition is to make my own Christmas cards and mail them to close friends/family with a small hand-made gift, like candy or ornaments.

  25. My fav tradition is pulling out all of grannie's handwriten recipes and making a few of her cookies. Brings back lots of memories for me and can't wait for my little dude to get big enough to help me :)

  33. I reposted on facebook, followed your blog and now it's time for my favorite holiday tradition to get a few entries in on the Chiefs…err…holiday wreath! Coming from a pretty large and separated family there are many to choose from, so I will just give you the first that came to mind.

    My whole life, my Dad has made wheat germ cookies in the shapes of santas, Christmas trees, etc. When I was a kid I never understood how something called "wheat germ" could taste so good (it’s the frosting). We always had a great time decorating those cookies each year with frosting, red hots, and sprinkles.

    To this day, my Dad still makes them each year and if I am lucky enough, I get to try my hand a decorating a few to keep the tradition alive.
